The type of personal information we collect.
If we provide a consultation or treatment to you, we will/may collect the following information:
name, age, gender, ethnicity, date of birth, address, nationality, contact telephone number, email address, any background medical information necessary for your treatment, before and after photographs of treatment areas.
If we take a payment from you via our point of sale software we will collect your payment card details and your email address if you require an email receipt.
If you follow us on social media, subscribe to our newsletter, register for events/promotions/gifts, contact us via email or make a booking we will collect the following information: Your name, Email address, contact telephone number, Contact details.
How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
· You have contacted us to make an enquiry, make a booking, or to provide a treatment.
· We have carried out a consultation, patch test or treatment to you.
· You have followed us on social media platforms, subscribed to receive updates on our products and services.
We use the information that you have given us in order to provide you with a treatment or to communicate with you on our products & services.
We may share this information with our software service suppliers who provide our marketing, booking and record keeping software.
We will not share your personal data with any third party outside of our direct software suppliers.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) we deem that the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information is that we have a legitimate interest in that providing our treatment services requires the collection of specific information.
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored.
We will keep your personal details and the details of your treatments for 8 years after your last treatment in accordance with the NHS Records management code of practice. We will dispose of your information by either secure shredding in the case of paper documents or data deletion in the case of electronic copies.
